Popuga English is an interactive educational website I designed to make English learning more enjoyable and effective—both for myself and for others. The name "Popuga" comes from the Polish word for "parrot" (popugaj), symbolizing repetition and language mimicry.

The site includes five interactive modules, each designed as a mini-game that rewards users with helpful hints for correct answers:
Synonyms – Type a synonym for the given word
Spelling – Complete words by filling in missing letters
Grammar & Vocabulary – Answer multiple-choice questions
Image Matching – Pick the image that matches the definition

To enhance engagement, I created a cheerful, colorful interface and two illustrated bird characters that guide users through the experience. They react expressively to user answers, creating emotional feedback and a sense of progress.

Since its launch, Popuga English has become an essential part of my daily learning routine. Practicing just 10–15 minutes a day significantly improved my retention of new words and grammar patterns. Thanks to the interactive format and built-in repetition, I now learn and remember up to 100 new words per week—naturally, without the need for rote memorization. The process feels effortless and fun, making English practice both enjoyable and sustainable. The result exceeded my expectations and doubled my learning efficiency.
